The Public Relations Office plays vital role in disseminating the information for barrier free communication and in organisng various programmes of the University. By having, a regular and systematic contact with the experts in the field, the functioning of the University is made accessable to the Users, i.e. the Students, Parents, Teachers and the General Public.

Besides, the major role played by this Department is ‘Crisis Management’. The Department rises up to the occasion, to manage any crisis, both of foreseen and unforeseen. As part of its activity, the Department acts as a comfortable bridge to various Academic Departments and to the Administrative Sections.

In short, by involving very actively with the clinical precision, this Department is engaged in the ‘Brand Molding Exercises’ for improving the Image, Fame and Name of the University.

At present, Mr.Natchimuthu Munusamy,M.A,M.Phil., is the Public Relations Officer of the Bharathiar University. If there is any clarification from the student of the University or general public may contact him.
